Many of our clients are private individuals or companies buying or selling land, houses or condominiums in the Islands. We handle all aspects of those transactions and their financing. We act for many of the major banks in the Islands and also work closely with most of the real estate agents and other professionals such as valuers and architects.
Commercial
Our property department deals with developers, financing institutions and commercial managers from the initial stages of purchasing raw land, obtaining planning permission, financing a project (either for the lending institution(s) or the developer) to the ultimate disposal of the property. We have and continue to act for some of the major developers in the Islands. More specifically this area can involve:
- applications for planning and other permissions;
- joint venture agreements for developers;
- sale and purchase contracts;
- leases, sub-leases and assignments;
- building contracts;
- management agreements and by-laws of strata corporations;
- loan documentation;
- general advice on property matters and;
- joint ventures.
