Staff changes
We are pleased to announce that Ben Hart has joined the firm as an associate in the litigation department. Ben qualified in 2004 with Bond Pearce, a well known law firm in England. Ben is married to a Caymanian and will be specialising in commercial litigation and insolvency work. The additional of Ben to the firm's already well respected litigation team will further strengthen the services offered by the department to a wide range of local and international clients.

Conferences attended
Between 25th – 28th October, Brendan Carr attended the IBC International Trust and Tax Planning conference in Coral Gables.

John Wolf and Siobian Groom also attended the Miami Boat Show and visited shipping clients in Miami.

Speaking engagements
A member of the firm's investment funds department will be speaking at the American Conference Institute conference "Hedge Funds Developing and Implementing Compliance Best Practices in the New Regulatory Environment" being held between January 24 - 25, 2005 at the New York Marriott East Side, New York. Campbells 2005 Hedge Fund Conference

Due to refurbishment work at the Hyatt, they will now be unable to host our conference on 25th February 2005. The date and venue have therefore been changed.

The conference will now be held on Friday 11th February 2005 at the Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa.
